Issues Importing Your Custom Spreadsheet?

We built the custom importer to read different kinds of custom files, but some uniformity is still necessary.

If your custom spreadsheet has several sheets on it you have to export just the sheet you need. You can find all the sheets on your file at the bottom of the window.


Find the file that has the DAs name or transporter ID, staging, and route info. Right click on that pages tab at the bottom and select Move or Copy...


In the pop up that appears, select the file you want to copy again and check the box for "Create a copy" at the bottom


Under "To book:" select the "(new book)" option to copy the page there and click OK at the bottom.


A new file will be created that only has the page you copied over. 
The last step is to remove any unnecessary columns from the file. Hera can only import columns that include information such as time, short code, associate name or transporter ID, route, staging, van, device, or parking space. Any other information can be deleted to avoid issues when importing. 

In the picture below, columns C, H, J, K, L, M, and N can be deleted to avoid issues. Don't delete the column with your DSP short code if there are other DSPs routes on the sheet. Hera will use your short code to determine the routes that belong to you.
