Custom List: Associate Roster Statuses

Roster Statuses have been converted to a Custom List and are more customizable.

To edit your Roster Status options head to the Custom Lists section of your Company Settings.

Under the List Name column, find the Associate Roster Status list. Using the action menu on the far right you can edit this custom list.

That will open the drawer pictured below. From here you can create new statuses and edit or delete existing ones. Statuses that are being used cannot be edited or deleted.

At the top, you have the option to change the way the list is displayed. The Status Pill option will display the Option name inside a pill icon in the color you pick.

Text Only will display the options as simple text.

With the Status Pill display, you can choose the color your option is displayed in. Pick between Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, and Gray.

Roster Statuses are now designated a Status Type. The tooltip provides a small description of Status Types: "For each Associate Roster Status, you can decide if the status is "Active" or "Inactive", which will dictate how the status is treated in Hera. Additionally, "Positive" statuses may offer to create Kudos in Hera, while "Negative" statuses may offer to create Issues."

You can choose from six different Status Types: Active (Positive), Active (Neutral), Active (Negative), Inactive (Positive), Inactive (Neutral), and Inactive (Negative)The Roster Status will have a different effect when used on the Daily Roster depending on its Status Type

  1. Active (Positive): A pop-up will appear giving you the option to add a reason for the Roster Status change and create an associate a Kudo.

  2. Active (Neutral): No pop-ups will be triggered.
  3. Active (Negative): A pop-up will appear giving you the option to add a reason for the Roster Status change, create an associate issue, create a counseling form for that DA. You will NOT be able to assign a replacement Associate with this status.

  4. Inactive (Positive): A pop-up will appear giving you the option to add a reason for the Roster Status change, create an associate a Kudo, and choose a replacement driver.

  5. Inactive (Neutral): A pop-up will appear giving you the option to add a reason for the Roster Status change, create an associate issue, create a counseling form for that DA, and choose a replacement for that driver.

  6. Inactive (Negative): A pop-up will appear giving you the option to add a reason for the Roster Status change, create an associate issue, create a counseling form for that DA, and choose a replacement for that driver.

The remaining columns are the same as all other Custom Lists.
  1. OPTION: shows all your list options. You can reorder your list using the three lines located next to the options names. Click and hold, then drag to your desired spot.
  2. USED FOR: shows you who/what this option is assigned to or where it is being used. Options that are being used cannot be edited or deleted.
  3. ACTION: this column gives you two options. When the repeat arrows are displayed, clicking them allows you to assign the items in the USED FOR column to another existing option. Once the items have been reassigned, a trash can icon will appear allowing you to delete and rename the option.
  4. STATUS: this column allows you to disable or enable options by clicking on the Disabled or Enabled pill icon. Disabled options will not appear as a dropdown option in their respective lists and cannot be assigned until they are enabled again.

To add a new option to the list click the + New Option button located at the bottom of the list. A new row will be added where you can enter the name of your new Roster Status and click done to save it.

New Roster Statuses default to a Blue pill icon and an Active (Neutral) Status Type. Click on either one to change it.

The default roster status is set to Rostered. When a new DA is rostered, they will automatically be assigned the Roster status. This can be changed at the bottom of the list. You can also choose hidden options that will hide the options from the dropdown when rostering or editing Associates on the Daily Roster. This only affects the visibility of the status on the Daily Rostering page.
